Practice is 1 x a week.  Day/Time will be decided by the volunteer coach.  No practice will start earlier then 5pm.  Practices will be held at subdivision parks or city parks for each team.  There will be 1 practice before the start of the season.   

If games are cancelled due to weather, we will make up games by including double headers on saturdays, extend a week and/or play on a weeknight. If multiple Saturdays are cancelled due to weather, some games may not be made up.

If you are requesting your son/daughter to only be available for practice 1 day of the week and on limited on times, please reconsider registering them.  Understand once a player is placed on a team, we can't move them into another team.

Our coaches are volunteers. Some with experience, some with not.  Understand, this is a recreational program for all levels of players to enjoy the game, compete & have fun.  If you are looking for professional development, please make sure to sign them up for our S3 Development Skills Camp we offer throughout the year or for them to be evaluated for our club team.

$125 Per Player - Game Jersey Included

​Due to scheduling, team planning & administrative time, no refunds will be issues 2 weeks prior to the start of the 1st game or anytime after. 

If cancelling prior to the 2 week mark, a refund minus a $20 fee will be issued or we can hold a full credit amount for future camps and leagues.

Our 5 v 5 recreational soccer league is coached by volunteer parents and High School Bala FC Players. Players who have parents willing to coach will move to the top of our registration list. Bala FC provides training programs for volunteers interested in coaching. We hope you will consider helping our 5 v 5 Recreational Soccer Program by volunteer coaching. If interested, there is a section in the online registration program to select volunteer/coach.

Weather is unpredictable and causes cancellations of practices & games. Cancelled practices/games can be caused by consistent rain/snow, poor field condition, lightning, thunder, temperatures over 105 degrees & temperatures under 40 degrees. There will be no credits or refunds when practices are cancelled. Most games will be made up. Cancelled practice can be made up another day during the week if volunteer coach is able.

We will try to accommodate requests for specific practice days, times and locations however, we cannot guarantee this. Requesting a specific coach will not guarantee placement with that coach. Enter your request under the COMMENT box when you are registering. Also, please enter days your child may not be able to practice during the week. Practices will be held at local subdivision parks. Our goal is to not have anyone drive more than 20 minutes for a practice.

Bala FC will provide a game jersey for all players.
All players are required to wear shinguards & soccer cleats. For player safety, players may either wear prescription sports goggles or sports goggles over regular glasses. Regular eye glasses alone are not allowed to be worn. There will be no wearing of jewelry (earrings, rings, necklaces, watches), hard casts and any items deemed harmful by the referees.

Parents will be notified by volunteer coach, the weekend prior to the 1st game weekend via email.  It will contain practice info, game schedule & team roster.
